14 days on North Island ($700)

We split our time on the North Island between two homes, one in Rotorua and one on the beach. Rorotua gave us the opportunity to do some day tripping, but when it came to move to the beach, we had a hard time leaving - it was gorgeous!

Transportation: $298

Again we rented a car from the airport, this time the car was a bit more expensive but the gas was WAAAAY less. Trade off!

Flights: $320

Finally our last flight with JetStar out of Queenstown came and it was altogether an enjoyable ride.

Rainbow Springs: $80

I found a wicked deal on bookme.nz and we jumped at the opportunity to have a fun laid back day, while seeing Kiwis! There are playgrounds, a small rollercoaster and lots of hands on learning.

Groceries: $432 (not included in budget)

Dining Out: $32

We didn't eat at any restaurants, but we did pick up coffees and ice cream several times while out exploring.
