Anna Maria Island has no shortage of good eats, ranging from fine dining to the best happy hour in town.

1. City Pier

Built in 1910, you can't miss this iconic pier while strolling down Pine Ave. On weekdays be sure to stop in for Happy Hour from 4-6pm. $5.95 pitchers of beer and cheap food are sure to keep you happy and fed, plus coated french fries are my weakness.

2. The Waterfront

Located across from the City Pier, the Waterfront offers you more upscale food in a relaxed environment overlooking Tampa Bay. Happy Hour consists of only drinks, but definitely a place worth stopping by, the Waterfront Burger is devine!

3. Poppo's Taqueria

If you love Mexican food than you must stop by Poppo's. They pride themselves on sourcing local organic produce and everything is made from scratch. Their made to order chips and salsa are to die for! A build your own taco starts at $3.50 and worth every penny.

4. Donut Experiment

Located right beside Poppo's is The Donut Experiment (formerly Anna Maria Donuts). Here you can order your donuts exactly how you like them. Choose from a variety of glazes and toppings and stuff your face!

5. Eat Here

I like to think of myself as a Fish Taco connoisseur and Eat Here's tacos are amazing! Don't be put off by the location (I am a sucker for waterfront/outdoor dining), the food is worth the stop.

6. Skinny's

Skinnys may just be the most popular local joint in Anna Maria. Home to the "#1 burger" and cheap ice cold beer, be sure to swing by after a day of soaking up the sun at Manatee Beach.

7. Sandbar

The Sandbar restaurant will definitely not be your cheapest meal out, but I have never left unhappy. We love to spend the day at the beach before walking up for a delicious dinner. Make sure to snag a table in the sand and order the soft shell crab, it's incredible!

9. Bridge Street Bistro

Once upon a time the Bridge Street Bistro had the best Happy Hour on the Island. Half off appetizers up on the Sunset Bar watching the sun set. It was, without a doubt, our favourite place to go. They have changed their Happy Hour to only drinks now, but still worth a visit. Between the tuna sashimi, lobster fritters and mussels - you will be in heaven!

10. Rod N Reil

Anna Maria's other pier located a little further north on the Island. You can find the same kind of pub food here, but they also serve breakfast!

Either way you slice it, Anna Maria Island is loaded with amazing food and atmospheres. What's your favourite place to eat on AMI?
